Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing operations, including painting, assembly, and packaging.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Manage, train, and evaluate finishing department personnel, fostering a productive team environment.
• Optimize production schedules and workflow to achieve efficiency targets and meet deadlines.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Track and report on key production metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing finishing department.
• Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, assembly, inspection).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce quality control standards for finished products.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to production issues.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and production schedules.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated finishing equipment or robotics.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for production planning and tracking.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or advanced safety training.
