Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for manufacturing equipment.
- Integrate embedded systems with industrial automation platforms and production lines.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for embedded systems on the factory floor.
- Optimize embedded system performance, reliability, and cost for high-volume production environments.
- Implement and maintain embedded solutions for real-time data acquisition and process control.
- Ensure embedded systems comply with manufacturing safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to enhance manufacturing processes through embedded technology.
Recommended Qualifications
- Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Proficiency with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC) and peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC).
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS or bare-metal development.
- Ability to debug embedded hardware/firmware using tools like JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN) and sensor integration.
- Strong understanding of electronic schematics and datasheets for hardware/firmware integration.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET, CAN).
- Familiarity with PLC programming and integration.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles.
- Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or machine vision systems.
