Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather demand intelligence.
• Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant deviations.
• Adjust forecasts based on new product introductions, product discontinuations, and market changes.
• Utilize statistical forecasting models and demand planning software to optimize predictions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software.
• Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel expertise.
• Solid understanding of S&OP processes and various forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with SQL or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM)
• Familiarity with advanced statistical modeling techniques for demand forecasting
