Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, SMED, Kanban, TPM).
• Identify and eliminate waste (Muda) in production processes through root cause analysis and process optimization.
• Facilitate and lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) events and projects across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, document, and standardize work procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor manufacturing teams on Lean methodologies, tools, and problem-solving techniques.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for flow improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Lean initiatives and drive sustained improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED).
• Proven experience in process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing methodologies like A3, 8D, or DMAIC.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for training, facilitating workshops, and working with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim).
• Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data analysis and process integration.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering Lean training programs.
