Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and training.
• Operate, set up, and program complex CNC and conventional machining equipment.
• Perform quality inspections of finished parts, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and designs.
• Develop and implement safe work practices, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in scheduling and prioritizing machining tasks to meet production deadlines.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in precision CNC machining (mills, lathes) and manual machining.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a team of machinists.
• Expertise in interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in setting up, programming (G-code/CAM), and operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of material properties, tooling selection, and quality control processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced CAM programming and post-processor optimization experience.
• Experience with specialized machining processes such as 5-axis CNC, EDM, or grinding.
• Certification or practical experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machinery.
