Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly/weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including timely filings and payments.
- Administer and reconcile all payroll deductions, including benefits, 401k, and court-ordered garnishments.
- Manage and audit timekeeping data from shop floor systems, ensuring proper calculation of hours, overtime, and shift differentials.
- Prepare and submit various payroll reports, including general ledger reconciliations and ad-hoc requests.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes impacting payroll data and tax withholding.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, time off accruals, and tax forms.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with major payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Workday) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and wage & hour compliance.
- Demonstrated understanding of timekeeping systems and pay practices common in manufacturing, including shift differentials and overtime calculations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now).
- Experience processing payroll for employees subject to shift differentials, production bonuses, or union contracts.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) as they integrate with payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis, reporting, and auditing.
