Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate various press machines according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspect finished parts for defects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues and performing minor adjustments or tooling changes.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and ability to perform in-process quality inspections.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Basic welding or fabrication skills
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting
