Salary Range: $50,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies in the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely shipment of goods and receipt of materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with shipping regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the shipping and receiving area.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs forms.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs within the department.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising and training staff.
• Proficiency in using shipping software, barcode scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by the role.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles in a warehouse setting
• - Forklift certification or ability to obtain quickly
