Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for manufacturing software and hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production machinery and network connectivity.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution in a manufacturing environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals used on the factory floor.
• Assist with user training on new systems and software specific to manufacturing operations.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of common operating systems (Windows, some Linux/Unix) and business software applications.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, or manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and experience troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control software
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, especially in a manufacturing context
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for service management
• Certification in CompTIA A+ or Network+
