Salary Range: $57,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee office operations and administrative support for manufacturing facility.
  • Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols in conjunction with operations.
  • Administer new employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including HR paperwork and facility access.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for external vendors, clients, and visitors to the manufacturing site.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and company events for manufacturing leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases relevant to office administration and facility management.
  • Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to ensure a productive work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing an office in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for basic data entry or report generation.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations (OSHA) and maintaining related documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate or assist with company events, including facility tours or employee recognition.
  • Experience managing or administering a company's fleet vehicles.
