Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed dimensional inspections of first article parts against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize a wide range of precision measuring instruments, including CMM, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, maintaining detailed records for traceability.
• Identify and report non-conformances, initiating corrective actions and working with engineering on resolution.
• Interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T callouts for inspection planning and execution.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve measurement issues and improve part quality.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections as needed to support production schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications (GD&T).
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 requirements.
