Facilities Manager | Byron Center, MI
Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Byron Center region seeking Facilities Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facilities services, supplies, and equipment.
- Plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, and relocation projects.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities technicians and support staff.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing facility maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and compliance in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
Bonus Qualifications
- LEED Green Associate or similar sustainability certification
- Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
