Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment on-site.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Calibrate and test machinery to meet specified operational standards.
  • Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, mechatronics, industrial automation) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and control systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in various field environments.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCST)
  • Proven ability to train junior technicians or end-users on equipment operation
  • Familiarity with CMMS/EAM software for work order management and asset tracking
  • Experience using a variety of diagnostic tools, including oscilloscopes and multimeters
