Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Paw Paw that are seeking Fabrication Leads. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train fabrication team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of fabrication projects to meet production deadlines.
• Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and specifications through inspection and testing.
• Manage material inventory for fabrication, including ordering and tracking usage.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including welders, saws, and presses.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in fabrication.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, including welding, forming, and assembly.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of skilled fabricators.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Expertise in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and material types.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior fabricators.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
