HR Manager | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for a diverse workforce.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with all labor laws and safety regulations.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll.
• Drive performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Implement training programs to enhance skills and productivity on the factory floor.
• Champion a positive and safe work culture within the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS utilization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational goals and a positive workplace culture.
