Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grandville that are seeking skilled HR Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, for factory and office staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and company objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts for manufacturing roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and professional development.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS utilization.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance within a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Proven track record in talent development and succession planning
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to HR
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to support a diverse workforce
