Salary Range: $81,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF certification audits.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch activities.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure supplier quality aligns with IATF 16949 requirements and company standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) beyond basic application
• Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 or other relevant quality management systems
• Experience implementing or maintaining a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process optimization
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior quality personnel
