Salary Range: $81,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes.
• Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions to ensure IATF 16949 adherence.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including PPAP submissions and customer specific requirements.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure incoming material conformity.
• Lead problem-solving efforts using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Provide training and support on IATF 16949 standards and quality tools to manufacturing teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Proficient in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including experience with 8D, 5 Whys, or similar methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA 6.3)
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools beyond basic application (e.g., advanced MSA, FMEA facilitation)
• Familiarity with specific customer portals and requirements (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
