Salary Range: $78,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes.
• Lead internal and external IATF 16949 audits, driving closure of non-conformances.
• Utilize APQP tools (PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans) to ensure product quality from design to launch.
• Analyze quality data (e.g., scrap, defects, customer returns) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability.
• Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, corrective actions, and new supplier qualification.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa diagrams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys).
• Demonstrated experience with internal and external quality audits.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools training delivery
• Knowledge of other quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
