Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies against specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Document inspection results accurately and completely, including acceptance, rejection, and non-conformance details, in the designated quality management system.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected materials, ensuring proper containment, identification, and communication to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and supplier quality teams to resolve material discrepancies and improve supplier quality performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming inspection processes, tools, and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
• IPC-A-610 certification or experience
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T symbols
