Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in East Lansing that are seeking Industrial Electricians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical issues on production machinery and facility equipment, including PLCs, motor controls, and human-machine interfaces.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Interprets electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Calibrates and tests electrical systems and components to ensure they meet operational standards and safety regulations.
• Adheres to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and maintains a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety regulations and arc flash hazards.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
