Salary Range: $49,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Incoming Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve material discrepancies.
• Adhere to established quality control procedures and safety guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications (GD&T knowledge preferred)
• Proficiency with various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances
