Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
  • Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and related technologies.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory control and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and material flow.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, leading to cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for inventory optimization.
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementation or optimization projects.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, particularly if the manufacturing operation has international touchpoints.
