Inventory Control Manager | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and reconciling discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing recommendations.
• Manage the inventory management system (e.g., ERP, WMS) to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics to optimize material flow and reduce lead times.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, turns, and obsolescence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
