Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Lean Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Implement and sustain Lean tools such as standard work, visual management, and poka-yoke.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement projects.
• Train and mentor production staff on Lean principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Lean initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
