Operations Manager | Newaygo, MI

Salary Range: $103,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Newaygo that are seeking skilled Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely material availability and product delivery.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements to reduce waste and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
