Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage timekeeping system, verify hours, and address employee inquiries regarding pay or deductions.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, ensuring adherence to all deadlines.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Administer new hire setup, employee changes, and terminations within the payroll system.
• Generate various payroll reports for management, HR, and finance departments.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll software.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state payroll.
• Experience with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll.
• Strong understanding of leave policies, deductions, and wage garnishments specific to a manufacturing workforce.
