Salary Range: $66,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Montague that are seeking skilled PLC Programmers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests PLC programs for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing PLC programs to resolve production issues.
• Modifies and optimizes PLC code to improve machine efficiency and performance.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to define control system requirements.
• Implements and maintains HMI applications for operator interface and process visualization.
• Conducts factory and site acceptance testing for new and modified control systems.
• Provides technical support and training to maintenance personnel on PLC-controlled machinery.
• Documents PLC programs, control system architecture, and operational procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
