Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Walker seeking Press Operator / Setups who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses for production efficiency.
• Perform routine setup and changeovers of presses according to production schedules.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues and process deviations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting press issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics
• Prior experience in a quality control role within manufacturing
