Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate various presses according to job specifications.
• Monitor machine operation, ensuring quality and adherence to production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to press operation and product quality.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products, ensuring accurate material handling.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain product standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up various printing presses (e.g., flexographic, digital, offset).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments to machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting job specifications, blueprints, and production orders.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards and perform in-process quality checks.
• Working knowledge of different ink types, substrates, and their applications.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation
