Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Mechanics. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in production machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman Mechanic certification (or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex machinery (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs)
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and preventative maintenance best practices
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and machining
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and automated systems
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Certifications in specific equipment (e.g., forklifts, aerial lifts)
