Maintenance Manager | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, ensuring timely availability and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other maintenance software
• Strong understanding of Lean principles, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance professionals
• Proficiency in analyzing maintenance data and developing strategies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
