Logistics Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.
• Optimize logistics processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, import/export compliance, and customs procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, CPIM) is a plus.
