Maintenance Manager | Paw Paw, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and procurement processes to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to support new equipment installations and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Manage the departmental budget, including labor, parts, and external services.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation and optimization.
• Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets, including capital expenditure planning.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance processes.
• Certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
