Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Portage region seeking Quality Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective measures.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, engineering, supply chain) to integrate quality into all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Proven ability to implement and improve quality control processes and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and mentoring quality teams.
