Quality Supervisor | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $70,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Quality Supervisors. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify quality trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal quality management systems, and customer specifications.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
• Facilitate internal and external audits.
• Provide training and mentorship to quality personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis, corrective/preventative actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with ISO 13485 or AS9100 quality management systems
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
