Quality Technician | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Quality Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials or products.
• Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Document and report quality data, including inspection results, defect rates, and trend analysis.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
• Train production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in quality control or a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T knowledge a plus).
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
