Quality Technician | Muskegon, MI
Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Quality Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials or products.
- Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Document and report quality data, including inspection results, defect rates, and trend analysis.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- Train production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper documentation.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2+ years experience in quality control or a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T knowledge a plus).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
