Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Plainwell that are seeking skilled Quality Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Oversee the disposition of non-conforming materials and products.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Strong understanding and application of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools (e.g., FMEA, MSA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Experience with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other ASQ certifications.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, assembly).
