Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking Production Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor production team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve production issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret production schedules, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and tracking.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP).
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in languages common among the workforce.
