Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Production Leads. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Train and mentor team members on manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Monitor production output, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production-related issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production management software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Ability to train and mentor junior production staff
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) relevant to the workforce
