Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Kalamazoo that are seeking skilled Production Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and developing production teams.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
