Quality Technician | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality defects.
• Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and instrumentation.
• Document and report quality data, including non-conformances and inspection results.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide training to production personnel on quality standards and inspection techniques.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Basic statistical analysis skills for data collection and interpretation (e.g., SPC).
