Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom manufactured products.
• Analyze customer specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and material requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for quoting.
• Utilize ERP systems and other software tools to generate cost estimates and pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer information.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting process.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, product information, and order status.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in calculating costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with sales, engineering, and customers.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple quotes concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
