Salary Range: $57,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure precise cost estimations.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Maintain and update pricing matrices, material costs, and labor rates.
• Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements and present quotes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the quoting process.
• Manage and prioritize multiple quote requests to meet deadlines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and CRM software.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their quoting modules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product lines
• Experience with configure-price-quote (CPQ) software solutions
