Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Delta Township that are seeking skilled Setup Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and stage equipment and tooling for production runs.
• Perform equipment changeovers and setups according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues during setup and operation.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify setup accuracy to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
• Document setup parameters, changeover times, and any encountered issues.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize setup processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechatronics, industrial automation).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Basic understanding of robotics or automated material handling systems.
