Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
• Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices (e.g., FIFO, cycle counting).
• Proficient in using ERP/WMS systems for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with hazardous material handling and documentation (HAZMAT).
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance on shipping and receiving equipment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
