Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in East Lansing that are seeking Shop Foremans. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Schedule and prioritize production tasks to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, parts, and finished goods, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in manufacturing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools, and relevant machinery

Bonus Qualifications

• LEAN or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
