Salary Range: $77,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions and other quality documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, SPC, 8D, root cause analysis).
• Experience conducting supplier audits and assessments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Familiarity with advanced quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for statistical process control and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in a project-based environment.
• Knowledge of specific industry standards or regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical devices, AS9100 for aerospace).
