Salary Range: $44,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain EDM machinery for precision manufacturing.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to set up EDM operations.
• Select appropriate electrodes, tooling, and machining parameters.
• Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Document operational data, part dimensions, and process parameters.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges)
• Basic computer skills for machine interface and data entry

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in using HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems
