Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement enhancements to existing manufacturing applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for application-related production downtime.
• Configure and maintain manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other plant floor applications.
• Create and update technical documentation for manufacturing applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing engineering roles within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment (e.g., robotics, PLCs, sensors).
• Proven ability to analyze customer technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP)
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for manufacturing applications
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles in an industrial control system (ICS) environment
